Psoriasis Living with Psoriasis

Psoriasis is not contagious

People have a tendency to shy away from people with psoriasis, avoiding physical contact for fear of catching the disease. In fact, psoriasis comes from a malfunctioning of the immune system, which results in abnormal growth of skin cells.
